Search the App Store or Google Play for “Chicken Road” and you’ll find dozens of results. None of them are the real Chicken Road by InOut Games. Apple and Google have policies that block real-money gambling apps from their default stores — so the genuine Chicken Road has no native app, period. Anything calling itself “Chicken Road App” on those stores is either a different game, a fake skin, or a wrapper trying to capture your search traffic.

Why There’s No App
Apple App Store guideline 5.3.3 and Google Play Policy on Gambling Apps both prohibit real-money gambling apps without explicit per-country licensing. InOut Games operates under a Curaçao licence, which is not on either store’s approved list. Building store-approved versions would mean rebuilding the entire compliance stack per jurisdiction — uneconomical for a single game.
The same is true for Aviator, JetX, and most provably-fair crash games. The “Aviator app” results you see on Play Store are also third-party knock-offs, predictor scams, or training-only versions that don’t pay real money.
What’s Actually on the App Store If You Search
- “Chicken Road – Crossy” type games. Free-to-play arcade games inspired by Crossy Road. Not gambling, not InOut Games, no real money.
- “Chicken Road Predictor” apps. Scams. We cover these on the Is It Legit? page.
- Casino wrapper apps. Some operators (1xBet, Pin-Up, others) publish their own app that contains the Chicken Road game inside. These are the closest thing to an “app version” — they’re the casino’s app, not Chicken Road’s.
- “Lucky Bird” or “Hot Bird” type clones. Look like Chicken Road. Are not.
If you install any of these expecting the real Chicken Road, you’ll get either a different game or a permission-grabbing scam. Do not install.
How to Play Chicken Road on iPhone
- Open Safari (not Chrome — Apple restricts gambling content in third-party browsers on iOS).

- Find Chicken Road in the lobby — usually under “Crash” or “Instant Games” category.

I run browser-only across all my devices. The marginal speed gain of an APK isn’t worth the verification overhead for me.
Mobile Game Quality
Chicken Road was built mobile-first. The interface is finger-sized, the buttons are big, and the round pacing is unchanged from desktop. Animation runs smoothly on any phone from the last 4 years. Battery drain is moderate — comparable to watching YouTube.
